Getting Ready for Concrete

Due to all the rain we've been getting, we've had to do major cleanup on the site in addition to getting the footing holes ready for the concrete to come. The holes were filled with water, so we had to siphon them out with a hose. But that didn't work on all of the holes (maybe because of the elevation change...we're not really sure why) so we had to bucket them out. We we're definitely dirty that day....oh what we do for architecture. Once the water was out of the holes, we had to finish digging them to the final level, pour in 4 inches of gravel and put in the rebar.
