The Final Push

Towards the end of the semester everything always seems to hectic, and it certainly seems to be doing so with this project as well. It takes a lot of coordination to get everything to fall into place and happen in the right order, at the right time. And there has certainly been a lot of confusion and stress over the past several weeks trying to connect all these pieces together. One of the hardest things we've been working with the whole semester is the recylced plastic material. We are trying to be sustainable and innovative by using a new material, but just as it does in many other cases, new materials and production is hard to work with because nobody has a lot of experience in working with it yet. So one of the biggest components of our project has caused the most turmoil and confusion. We've gone in every direction possible with this material, from it being absolutely free and a very easy production, to costing us an astronomical price and having a very difficult and time consuming production........and of course, every where in between. Unfortunately, a lot of the other components of the project depend on this material, and so when it gets changed or falls through, it causes a big chain reaction. Hopefully we have it under control now and production will start on Monday. Continue on!
