Working on the Final Design

It seems like we've come back to some of our original ideas that we had as a group from the beginning of the design phase. We had some ideas of expanding the coverage area of the canopy past the edges of the stage is order to create more of an atmosphere throughout the park and to create more cohesion between some of the elements of the park. This way we would be able to create more of a space within the park that would still be used even when there was not an event. We had gone away from this idea a few weeks ago because we thought we would have to have multiple cabling tiebacks going into the ground and we thought it would cost too much. However, going through multiple other schemes of structure and canopy alternatives, we seem to have come back to one of our original ideas.

The proposed design will have a series of about 13 posts anchored into concrete footings into the ground. There will then be cabling strung from each post which we will then hang the canopy form from.
